Second Panitia meetings 18 Feb2012

This is our second Additional Mathematics Panel meetings in the lecture theatre. This meeting we concentrated on the extra classes that the school has arranged on Monday and Thursday immediately after the 1 week break. Each class is 45 minutes and the teachers will teach their own classes for the duration of the month of April.
It is hoped that this  joined efforts will spurs the students to achieve better in their Additional Mathematics results at the end of this year.

Giving a presentation to the Rajabhat U

30 traninee teachers from Phuket Rajabhat University, Thailand came to visit Penang Free School with their lecturer for a few hours visit (9.00 am to 11.24am). I was assigned by the school administration to brief the trainee teachers about the Malaysian Education system and the school Management and the school Academic strategies. There were lots of Q & A and everybody learned so much from each other.

Mathematics benchmarking from Kelantan GC

Two master teachers from Sultan Ismail Kota Bharu College, Kelantan
visited Penang Free School to bench mark as well as to learn to use a very useful mathematics software. I also shared with them, my teaching and learning strategies and how I involved the students in UN and UNESCO projects related to Mathematics and taught them "FX Draw"
